Acting IGP Orders Withdrawal of Senior cops connected to EFCC
Recently appointed acting Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, has ordered the immediate withdrawal of cops connected to Nigeria’s Economic and monetary Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Mr Baba’s call to deploy the senior cops from the rank of Chief Superintendent of Police was supported the operational necessities of the force.
In a letter self-addressed to the EFCC Chairman dated April fifteen, 2021, and signed by the Principal commissioned officer to the IGP, Idowu Omohunwa, the police boss directed that the affected officers ought to report not later than Wednesday (today).
