Businesswoman and ''Kayanmata'' merchant, Jaruma, has said that the high rate of divorce can only be linked to crossdressers in Nigeria and not the use of Kayanmata by single ladies.   “Kayanmata” which originated from the Northern part of Nigeria, refers to herbs or potions that act as sex or love enhancers for couples. 371 new cases of COVID-19 recorded in Nigeria

371 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded in Nigeria on Friday, March 5, 2021.   According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC), Lagos recorded 101 new cases, the highest for the day.    Other states with new cases include Rivers-54, Anambra-31, Ebonyi-23, Imo-23, Kwara-22, Kano-20, Taraba-17, Akwa Ibom-16, FCT-15, Abia-13, Kaduna-13, Osun-5, Edo-4, Oyo-4, Kebbi-3, Ogun-3, Ekiti-2, Nasarawa-1 and Zamfara-1.   The agency also disclosed that they were 204 community recoveries in Kwara State, 167 in Lagos State, 88 in Edo State, and 60 in Osun State.   Nigeria now has a total of 158,042 confirmed cases 137, 025 patients have been discharged so far with 1,954 deaths recorded.   See a breakdown of the number of cases per state below.

Wisdom the albatross, the world's oldest known wild bird, has birthed a chick at the age of 70, the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) has announced. According to the USFWS, the Laysan albatross hatched the chick on 1 February in a wildlife refuge in the North Pacific Ocean. Laysan albatrosses usually only live for 12-40 years. But Wisdom was first identified by researchers in 1956.     Although Wisdom hatched her chick in February, the birth - which took place in the Midway Atoll national wildlife refuge, in a US minor outlying island in the North Pacific - has only been reported this week. As if the problems facing New York Governor Andrew Cuomo have no plans of going away, a new bombshell report has come out alleging that top advisers to Cuomo influenced state health officials to remove data from a public report that showed coronavirus-related nursing-home deaths in the state had exceeded numbers previously acknowledged by the administration.
