Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has said he expects a “competitive” match when they take on Chelsea in the second round of the Champions League semi-final.

The two sides drew 1-1 on Tuesday, with both goals in the first half.

Christian Pulisic gave the visitors the lead, before Karim Benzema equalized before the break.

Zidane does not expect the Blues to sit back at Stamford Bridge with the tie at a knife point going into the second leg at Stamford Bridge next week.

“They are very fast, have good players and started very well. In the second half we had more control. We are still level and we are satisfied with the overall performance. We also play well away from home, we push high.

‘They are [Chelsea] for a reason in the semi-finals, they are a good team. The second leg will be very competitive, “said Zidane.
