Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic tests positive for Coronavirus

Premier Fulham have confirmed striker Aleksandar Mitrovic has tested positive for coronavirus.

Fulham said in a brief statement that the absence of the Serb on Sunday night in the team’s 2-0 win over Everton at Goodison Park was due to a positive Coronavirus test.

That means the club will be without the Serbian goal scorer on Wednesday for their next two league games against Burnley and their home clash on Saturday against bottom club Sheffield United as they battle outside the relegation zone.

In July 2018, Mitrovic signed a five-year contract with Fulham following a successful loan spell at Newcastle United
